it worked for a quick fix until i could buy the product i planned at the price i wanted to pay.
I used to love this product. A couple years ago I was given a sample size jar of well-rested and it worked better than any concealer I had tried, and it lasted forever because it only took a small amount to cover dark circles and blemishes.
I ran out of my trial size last December and replaced it with the full-size version of what was nominally the same product…but apparently the formula has changed. The new one is TERRIBLE. It works as an eyeshadow, but not as a concealer. It doesn’t blend in with my skin tone, and I must use much more of it to get any coverage at all. I have to cake it on to cover dark circles, and even then, it doesn’t really cover them or even lighten them–it just turns them brown instead of purple! Useless! I don’t know what exactly they changed, but this stuff is now just as crummy as drugstore brand concealers!
I love this shadow, it really does make your eyes look less tired, brighter, not glittery.
it leaves my sking glowing…i have an acne problem, and it really makes my sking look great, hides the blemishes. I also have the mineral veil that I used prior and after the base, and the warmth, that gives me a color that looks like I just came from the beach, and I live near it…it’s fantastic.
Bare Escentuals multi-tasking face in Well Rested is a miracle worker. It can be used to conceal under eye circles, brighten the eye area prior to using your eyeshadow, and covers blemishes (acne, dark spots, sprder veins, etc.) wonderfully. I had previously used Bisque but the Well Rested works much better for me. I am of a medium to medium-light complexion. Great product !
