I’m new to the Bare Minerals makeup line; I thought I’d check it out for something different due to the high reviews its products receive. As for the Eyeshadow Quad…look, I’m close to 40 now and I can’t have sparkles in my makeup. That’s right…sparkles. Mixed in with the bareMinerals Queen Phyllis Glimmer (soft sunlight), Twig Eyeshadow (light mahogany), and Bubbly Eyeshadow (champagne)are very tiny silver sparkles. Only the bareMinerals Retro Liner Shadow (black coffee) is a non-sparkly matte. Packaging is cute, product is messy. I would imagine that if I put this eyeshadow on and wore it all day, I would find sparkles in my hair, on my eyelashes and my face.
Bare Essentuals make amazing products in and of themselves, however this little quad box is the greatest gift! The colors are well picked for all skin colors and ages, and for the price of the brushes you get four colors! Get two…they’re small!
I got this on a whim with a gift card to Sephora, and it worked out beautifully! The narrower tops to the mini-jars make for less powder loss, and way easier to tap off excess product. The colours are flattering to anybody and it is just clever/cute in it’s packaging!
