I never used this, but it was a gift for my mother. It’s all she uses and she loves it.
Much better quality than most sunless tanners. But like all other “fake-bakes” it has its drawbacks, as mentioned in other reviews.

I ordered this product and it does give a nice tan but not any better than the stuff I usually get at the local drug-store for half the price. I do like the smell and the result but I probably won’t order this product again.
I’m not a big self tanner to begin with, but I purchased this product to use as an alternative of sitting out in the sun. While it does give you a VERY natural looking tan, it does come at a price. First, don’t apply this in the morning thinking you can just go out about your business an hour later. This stuff is incredibly sticky and also goes on very, very dark. In time it fades to its natural color but that won’t happen until the next day, so don’t apply this if you have something going on later that night. Secondly, also a plus and a minus, one coat is all you need. No multiple applications are required and I was amazed at how tan my skin was the next day. However, this also comes at a price. Any spots you miss will stand out like night to day. Also, if you don’t wash your hands well enough expect to have the dirtiest looking hands imaginable.
Now these might be non issues for some, and I must compliment the product on the fact that it does last a good while. However, my biggest issue was apparent a few days into using it. And that is, “you can’t use this if you are male”. This is because the first time you shave your face all of the tanner will be scrapped off your face do to the fact that shaving is essentially exfoliating the skin. After shaving you WILL look like a clown.
Its hard to rip too much into this sunless tanner since these issues are apparent in every tanner out there. If you use sunless tanners successfully than I highly recommend this product. If you are new to use tanners I would suggest using a cheaper product first in order to test how well your daily activities will effect the lotion. If you have problems with the cheaper tanners don’t expect this more expensive tanner to be any different. Needless to say, after about a month of using this product, trying different variations to keep a good “tan”, I gave up and stopped using it.
I love the golden glow that Faux Tan gives my skin. I am not “ashy” or “orange” looking. Think of J Lo’s skin color and that’s the color that you achieve from this product. I am Hispanic but it looks better than a tan I would get from the sun.
I use a scrub to remove any dead skin cells and then put on my Faux Tan. One of the best things is that you see EXACTLY where this product is going on your skin. You cannot mess up. Color lasts for at least 1 – 2 months. This is the best self tanner that I have found so far. I highly recommend it!
